This is the famous Lionel Union Pacific M10000 Streamliner Set from the 1930s. When introduced in 1934, this set broke new ground for Lionel. It was the first model of a diesel-powered train Lionel ever produced, and it was scale length. The set’s extreme length means that it will only run on curves 72 inch diameter or larger. The set includes a powered unit and non-powered trailing cars. A great addition to any Lionel collection. The locomotive features metal construction, motor, an operating headlight, an operating whistle, and metal wheels. The non-powered cars features metal construction, interior illumination, and metal wheels.
