This is a Lionel 3656 Vintage O Operating Cattle Car & Corral Set from 1949-55. Except for the operating milk cars, the 3656 Operating Stockyard Set was Lionel’s most popular operating freight car. This cattle car features sliding doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. The corral features tin-plate construction with metal rails.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust present on the corral and car. Additionally, bodies of both items show paint wear, chipping, and spots of discoloration due to aging. The wheels show signs of repetitive use. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. Figures are missing and not included.
