This car is part of the 500 series of standard gauge freight cars, which are slightly smaller than the 200 series. Features include an all-metal body and frame, tin-plate trucks, latch couplers, sliding doors, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There are heavy nicks, scratches, and signs of surface rust present on the surface of this item. Additionally, heavy signs of paint wear, chipping, and spots of discoloration are visible throughout the surface and underframe. Both brake wheels are missing and not included.
